About Our Founding Honoree
Charles Robinson was more than an exceptional athlete—he was an inspiration whose passion, determination, and love for sports shaped his life and the lives of those around him. As a young man growing up, sports provided Charles with a positive outlet for self-expression, discipline, and personal growth. Athletics gave him purpose, taught him resilience, and helped him avoid many of the challenges and negative influences that often confront underserved youth.
In honor of his life and the values he embodied, the No Child Left on the Sideline Foundation was established to carry forward his legacy. The foundation is committed to ensuring that no child is denied the opportunity to participate in youth sports because of financial hardship. Through scholarships that help cover registration fees, equipment, uniforms, and other sports-related expenses, we strive to open doors for young athletes to experience the same life-changing opportunities that sports provided to Charles.
By investing in today's youth, we celebrate Charles Robinson's enduring legacy—one built on perseverance, hope, community, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and succeed through the power of sports. His memory lives on through every child who steps onto the field, court, or track with confidence, knowing that someone believed in their potential.
